TEAMS’ COMPETITION. TE AWAMUTU v. HAMILTON. During the last week-end a teams’ match was played on St. Andrew’s links between Te Awamutu and Hamilton players, the former winning by one game on the day. The following are the scores:— Singles: Holmes beat Fergerson 2 up and 1 to play, Sterritt beat Taylor 4 up and 3 to play, R. Wallace beat Kelly 2 up and 1 to play, Ryan beat Fahey 3 up and 1 to play, Muir lost to Clarke 1 down, Wood lost to Marcroft 2 down and 1 to play, J. Wallace lost to Duxfield 1 down, Brown lost to Loveridge 3 down and 2 to play, Craik beat Kunan 4 up and 3 to play, Glanville and McClellan all square-, W. Reid lost to Peterson 3 down and 1 to play, Gibbs lost to Tombs 2 down and 1 to play. Four-ball Matches: Holmes and Sterritt beat Fergerson and Taylor 2 up and 1 to play, R. Wallace and Ryan beat Kelly anil Fahey 3 up anci 1 to play, Muir and W;ood lost tc Clarke and Marcroft 4 down and 3 to play, J. Wal’ace and Brown lost to Loveridge and Duxfield 1 down, Craik and Glanville lost to McClennan and Kunan 1 down, Reid and Gibbs beat Peterson and Tombs 2 up and 1 to play. HAMILTON LADIES’ CLUB. The Jenning’s Cup medal eclectic match played by members of the Hamilton Ladies’ Golf Club was won by Mrs Gordon Smith with a score of 88, 23 —65. Other good scores were: Mrs H. McDonald (Te Awamutu), 72. C—66; Mrs H. Toombs, 90, 23—67; Mrs G. B. Isdale, 86, 18—68; Mrs N. Rawlings, 81, 12—69; Mrs S. Bennett, 87, 18—69. TE AWAMUTU CLUB. The Te Awamutu Club will hold the second round of the Stableford Bogey match, over 18 holes, this week-end. OTOROHANGA CLUB. SATURDAY’S RESULTS. The medal round promoted by the Otorohanga Golf Club was won by N. Ormsby with the fine score of 62 net, the runner-up being G. Watson, with 66 net. The handicap reductions are Ormsby 17 —5—12 handicap. Watson 21— 4—17 handicap. There was an unusually large number of visiting players on these fine links during the week-end.
