Eyre, lion, housekeepersecretary, submitted (he following report:— In the year just ended we have filled 30 positions with our housekeepers in the Te Awamutu branch. Early in the year we had two housekeepers for this branch, but one took a permanent position, and just lately the other one has taken up nursing again, so that I have had to borrow housekeepers from the S.A.P.E. or other branches quite often. I regret there have been many calls for help that we were not able to find housekeepers for, and we are now in need ot capable young women to carry on the work. In allowing our housekeepers to go to a position we give preference to cases where the mother is sick and there are little children in the home, but. we are sorry not to help 4very deserving case. We find that the more desperate the case is, the more grateful they are for help received and thoughtful for our housekeepers. My sincere thanks to all those who have helped me during my term of office, especially to Mrs Ryburn, housekeeper-secre-tary, S.A.P.E. LIBRARIAN’S REPORT. The librarian (Mrs S. A.
