WAIPA COMPETITIONS. The two games for the Waipa Hockey Association’s Empson Cup competitions were played at Albert Park on Saturday afternoon, in cold and windy weather. Te Awamutu A had an easy victory over Te Rahu, piling on thirteen goals to nil, J. Smith registered six goals, E. Penny three, B. Gibson two. and J. Spiers two. Otorohanga A also proved easy victors over Pirongia, eventually winning by six goals to two. Otorohanga B and Te Awamutu B elevens met at Otorohanga. FINCH ROSEBOWL GAMES. Ngatahuia A 5, v. Ngatahuia B 0. Otorohanga A 4, v. Pirongia 1. Paterangi 9, v. Otorohanga B 2.
