THE GAME OF HOCKEY
TWO LADIES’ CLUBS AMALGAMATE. Last Saturday the Old Girls’ and Ngatihuia hockey teams met to. discuss the desirability cf amalgamation. There was a good attendance of players which augured well for the coming season. It was decided to adopt the name of Ngatihuia far the team, and also the navy uniforms with the white sailor collars. The following officers were elected: Patron. Mr D. Bockett; president, Mr H. V. Collison; vice - presidents, Mrs Stanford and Messrs, W. Douglas and J. A. Maxwell; captain. Miss N. Douglas; vice-captain, Miss V. Collison; secretary, Miss M. Ccok; delegates, Misses Stanford and Snowden.
