WEDDING BELLS
BURRELL—RUGE. A wedding of particular interest to Otorohanga and Cambridge residents was celebrated in St. Andrew’s Church, Cambridge, on Wednesday last. The contracting parties were Amy Millicemt, daughter of the late Mr and Mrs B. Ruge, and Alexander, eldest son of Mr and Mrs W. A. Burrdll, of Otorohanga. The Rev. A. H. Bott, of Hamilton, officiated, and Miss Attwood provided the wedding music. The bride was given in marriage by her brother, Mr C. F. Ruge, and she wore a very charming frock of beige French georgette, with full sleeves, inset with angelskin lace and a gauged front to the bodice. The skirt was inlet with lace godets. Her picture hat of beige Balibuntal straw was trimmed with brown Velvet and a spray of pastel flowers. Her bouquet comprised pale pink roses and carnations. She was attended b« Miss Merle Nelson, of Te Awamutu, who wore a frock of pastel pink, with a pink picture hat to harmonise. Heir bouquet was of pink roses. Mr Ronald Burrell, of Otorohanga, (brother of the bridegroom) functioned as best man. The reception was held at the Triangle Tea Rooms, where Mrs C. F. Ruge received the guests. She was costumed in a navy romaine frock, and her hat was of nav- - straw relieved with white. Red African daisies and roses comprised her beautiful bouquet. The mother of the bridegroom, Mrs W. A. Burrell, wore a navy patterned georgette frock with hat and accessories in harmony. Golden coloured roses comprised her bouquet. After the motoring honeymoon, Mr and Mrs Burrell will reside at Otorohanga.
