TOUR BY BOWLERS
AUSTRALIAN TEAM MAY VISIT DOMINION. There is a possibility of a team of bowlers from Queensland touring New Zealand during the present season, and a draft itinerary has already been prepared. Players will be drawn from the Wide Bay and Burnett districts, and as well there will be at least six members from Brisbane clubs. Provision is made in the draft itinerary for the team to sail from Sydney by the Awatea on January Bth, and arrive at Auckland on January 11th. It is nyoposed that the team play in Auckland on January 12th and 13th, and after visits to the thermal district, the Chateau Tongariro, Wanganui and' Palmerston North, Wellington will be reached on January 21st. After they play in Wellington on January 22nd and 23rd, the team will leave for the South Island. The present proposal is that the party will sail from Wellington for Sydney by the Awatea on February Bth.
