A message from Grafton (New South Wjales) published in the Sydney Sunday Sun-Guar<nan on the 6th instant reads as follows:-—■ An allegation that the Clarence River district is afflicted by drought because of the people’s spritual indifference which was made by a Baptist clergyman, Rev. A. C. Maynard, has not only brought forth a number of denials by other clergymen and representative citizens, but has resulted in a public announcement by the Rev.
