The new school at Wharepapa is at present under the charge of Mr Goldthorpe, as relieving teacher, and he has a roll of nearly twenty pupils. We understand that instruction is at present being given in the room of a private home, until such time as the community hall is erected. Timber has been on the property for some time, and a start with the building will probably be made at an early date.
