New Zealand won the Bledisloe Cup from Australia at the Carisbrook ground, Dunedin, on Saturday afternoon by defeating the touring team by 38 points to 13. The score at half-time was 13 to 11 in favour of Australia, but in the second half the All Blacks took complete charge, tries coming easily and frequently. In snite of the wide margin, the contest was very spectacular, and was played at a great pace throughout. The Australian forwards held the oposition well in the first spell, winning the ball from the scrums and lineouts. Storey, the visitors’ fullback, played a fine game up to the interval, but thereafter fell from grace, while the defence of tho other backs was also weak ,enabling the opposing backs and forwards to do practicaly as they pleased.
