Teacher: John Henry, your work has fallen down; and if you are going to pick it up, you’ll have to step on it. AT HIS BEST. A teacher came upon the following “howler”: “A Prime Minister is a clergyman at his best.” OH! In an effort to get the kindergarten children to talk freely, the teacher started a conversation about pets. “Do you have a cat or a dog, David?” she asked of a particularly sharp child. “No, ma’am,” responded the boy; “I’m an only child.”
