The loss on the New Zealand tour by the Marylebone Cricket Club team under the captaincy Mr of E. R. T. Holmes last season was £3400, stated Mr A. T. Donnelly, chairman of the management committee of the New Zealand Cricket Council, yesterday. This sum is exclusive of the losses made by the individual associations on their guarantees to the Council. It is expected that the Marylebone Club will assist the New Zealand Cricket Council to meet the loss on the tour.
