NO MILEAGE TAX
It is interesting to note from a recent Gazette that trackless trolley buses are to, be exempt from mileage tax as provided for in the 1934-35 Motor Vehicle Amendment Act. In view of the fact that outlying suburbs of cities are calling fo,r more transport, it seems that, in view of the mileage tax exemption, trolley buses are likely to have a big advantage over other types of passenger transport.
