A statement that the guaranteed price for dairy products would be fixed at a fraction above the most generous maximum on the average for the past eight to ten years was made by the Minister of Marketing, Hon. W. Nash, in addressing the National Dairy Conference, which opened at Hastings yesterday. “The objective of the Government,’’ Mr Nash said, “is to remove the fear of price falls and the ecstacy of price rises.”
