The statement of finances presented at to-day’s meeting of the Te Awamutu Power Board showed the power fund account in credit £1929 16s Id, the consumers’ finance account in credit £429 12s sd, and the loan account in debit £1357 18s 2d. Thus the total credit in all accounts is £lOOl 10s 4d. The amount due to the power fund account for amounts advanced up to March 31st, 1936, pending the raising ot loan money, Is £4848 10s 3d.
Revenue earned from the sale of current by the Te Awamutu Power Board for April, according to a statement tabled at to-day’s meeting of the Board, was as follows: Lighting, heating and cooking £1543 3st lid, power £1298 8s lOd, penalties and sundries £lB 6s Bd, and street lighting £3O; total £2889 19s sd. For April last year the total revenue from the same sources was £2837 Us 2d.
