VICAR RESIGNS
EFFECTIVE FROM MID-SEP- i TEMBER. At a meeting of the vestry of St. John’s on Wednesday evening the Rev. S. R. Wareing, vicar of Te Awamutu, formally tendered his resignation, stating that, as indicated earlier, he had made definite ’plans to sail for England, where he and Mrs Wareing purpose residing, at least for some time. Mr Wareing said he desired the resignation to be effective from 20th September, and that he had booked to sail from Auckland on the 28th, travelling to England via Suez. The vestry received the resignation with regret.
