The privilege which allows prisoners in a certain (Spanish gaol, to receive dainties cooked by their wives is now withdrawn, following an escape by an inmate with the aid of a file concealed in a home-made cake. The, other prisoners, however, hold that there was no file, and that he sawed through the bar with a slice of the cake.
