RACING TAXATION
WAIPA CLUB’S SPECIAL MEETING.
Taxation in connection with the Waipa Racing Club’s special race meeting at Te Awamutu on Saturday last totalled £1247 14s 4d, made up of: Totalisator tax, £573 12s lOd, dividend tax £627 Is, amusement tax £37 17s 6d, and stakes tax £9 3s. We are indebted to Mr “ Pat ” Goldsbro, the assistant secretary, for the following table of winning payments in connection with the meeting:—Messrs Windsor and Townsend £l2O, E. H.
