WAIHI TO AFFILIATE WITH THAMES At a meeting of the Waihi Hockey Association on Monday evening, a suggestion from the Thames Hockey Association that the two bodies affiliate was a subject which claimed considerable attention, and it was unanimously resolved that the Association fall in with the suggestion, and that an affiliation of the two bodies be brought about as speedily as possible. As an outcome of the decision a combined team, to be known as the Goldfield’s team, will take part in the “White House” competition during ladies’ country week at Auckland in July next.
