ST. MARK’S CLUB
OPENING SOCIAL Despite the inclement weather conditions prevailing on Tuesday evening there was a large attendance of members at the opening social of the St. Mark’s Club. During the evening parlour games were indulged in, and a number of musical items were rendered. The Hamilton Jazz Band were present and enlivened matters with a number of pieces which were much appreciated. The dance music was supplied by the Jazz Band, Miss Tui Woodroffe and Miss M. Maingay. Songs were given by Miss F. Strange, and recitations by ,Mr Crawford, of Hamilton.
A very dainty supper was partaken of, and a very enjoyable evening was spent by all present.
