TERRIERS’ SOCIAL

HAMILTON JAZZ BAND * ENGAGED ‘ There have been a few socials this season but nothing that will approach in importance the event that is to take idace at the Theatre Royal on Monday evening next, when the Terrier Football Club will hold their first social for the season. The Club wants this social to be a success and they are going the right way about it. The first essential is good music, and the Club has resolved a lead in this respect by engaging the famous Hamilton Jazz Band. This required some courage for it means heavy expense, but it is anticipated that the resultant larger crowd will more than compensate for the outlay. The floor, supper and the whole of the arrangements will be in keeping with the music, and the dance lovers of Te Aroha are going to have a night that they will remember. The charge for admission will be low, being only 4/for gents, and 2/6 for lodies.
