ROAD MACHINERY
NEEDS OF PIAKO COUNTY DECISION TO PROCURE MORE MACHINERY . * The need of obtaining a bitumen sprayer for work in the Piako County, was mentioned by the chairman, Cr. F. W. Walters, at a meeting yesterday. Cr. Walters said he was going / on a visit to Taranaki in a fort- ' night’s time and he would look into roading matters there. Councillors suggested that the Council might obtain the loan of a sprayer. This did not appear to be very seriously entertained.
• It was then pointed out that the Finance Committee had recommended the purchase of a scoop, grader, tractor and sprayer.
Eventually it was decided that the recommendation of the Finance Committee be adopted.
