NO. 2 DISTRICT ROADS SIX ROUTES SELECTED RECOMMENDATIONS TO BOARD The No. 2 District Council of the Main Highways Board met yesterday to consider" proposals for recommendation to the Board.' The district eng’irieer, Mr A,. J. Raker, presided. After some discussion it was resolved to recommend that the following routes should be constituted main highways. Great South Road as far as the Otorohanga boundary. Pokeno-Waitakaruru Road. .Paeroa-Waihi route, in conjunction with the extension to Coromandel. liamilton-Te Aroha-Paeroa Road. Hamilton-Cambridge-Tirau route as far as the Rotorua boundary road. . Raglan-Frankton and PutaruruAtiamuri routes.
