FAREWELL SOCIAL
TO LIEUTENANT BLICK
A farewell social was tendered to Lieutenant Blick on Tuesday evening by the Girl Guards and comrades of the local Corps. Colonel Bray, who was in Te Aroha on Salvation Army business, presided over the function.
During the evening games were indulged in and vocal items rendered by volunteers. A coffee supper, and speeches by Colonel Bray and Lieut. Blick brought a pleasant evening to a close.
The Lieutenant left by the early morning train on Wednesday for her new appointment, and carried with her the well-wishes of many friends, who will watch with interest her future career.
