“THE MAN FROM HELL’S RIVER” Coming to the Theatre Royal on Monday next is the “Man From Hell’s River,” adapted from the story by James Oliver Curwood, and which presents Irving Cummings, with a featured cast of players among whom are Wallace Beery and Eva Novak. This vital tale presents a romance of the snow country where life is lived in the raw. It offers self-sacri-fice, dog-like devotion on the part of a faithful huskie, pathos, elemental conflict, and a grandeur of scenery unexcelled. Mr Cummings gives a vigorous portrayal as the Mountie, while Wallace, Beery as the brutal renegade plays the part with his customary skill. Eva Novak lends Sa charming naturalness to the role of the heroine. The action is laid in a sparsely settled trading post where the wolves howl in pack during the long winter season. Mr Cur\vood considers it one of his most vigorous documents.
