TWO TE ASOIIA WINS
The junior rugby competition opened on Saturday, when two gamos were played iu the district. At the show-grounds (To Aroha) the Terriers fried conclusions with Waihou Rangers, and a good game resulted, there being three spasms of fast and interesting play. Victory went to tho Teniers by nine points to nil, the scorers being K. Frater (two penalty goals) and A. Watson (a try). Mr T. Atkins was referee.

It is just about time the seniors “ kicked-ofi ’’ in earnest, for the season is getting on. Again on Saturday the spectators at the £howgr und wero disappointed. They anticipated a match between the Fores tors and Ramblers, but such did not eventuate Wo appeal to all playeis interested to make a start.
