SPRINGDALE RED CROSS
(Own Correspondent) On Wednesday, April 25th, a case containing the following articles, was packed and sent to the Morrinsville nursing division, for the month of April :—6 shirts, 14 underflannels, 7 suits pyjamis, L 4 pillowcaseß, 36 towels, 36 face cloths, 1 pneumonia jacket, 12 many tailed bandages, 120 swabs, 240 eye pads, 32 rolled bandages, 12 T bandages, doz. hand-, kerchiefs, 26 triangular bandages, 1 bundle gun cleaners, 7 pair woollen sox, 1 pair knitted slippers (a gift from Mrs Walters). The collection for the month amounted to £2 10s, while the school children’s donation was 10s 6d.
