GERMAN STRIKES INCREASING

The German strike movement is spreading. There are strikes in the Rhine coalfields, and also in Hamburg, where 35,000 workers are on strike. The munition workers at Berliu made a fresh demonstration daring the weekend. Although the milisary posted notices at Spandan factories declaring strikers to be punished under the miliiary code, the railway workers at Warsaw, Lowdz, and other Polish towns struck.

The Germans threatened to deport them, but tho number is increasing. The aim of the strikers has been attained.
