We are pleased to hear that M s (Farmer is much better, and it is to be honed she will soon be convalesent. The welcome rain has come at last, and done a vast amount of good, besides damping down the fire in the swamps. -g Turnips are growing fast, and the pastures are-beginning to look green again. ’ ; Mr Farmer is making good progress with his house, and hopes soon to move into it with his wife and family.
