Sydney, August 28. At the August race meeting of Sydney Tattersall's Club to-day, the principal event resulted:— Thk Spring Handicap, a handicap sweepstake of 3 sovb. each for starters, with 250 soys. added: second horse 50 and third horse 25 soys. from the prize. Dis < tance, 1£ mile Mr E. Eager's br m Rosebud, 4yra, by Musket—Bosarina 1 Mr H. Oxenham'B b q Ellington.aged... 2 Mr W. E. Royds b c Bravo, 3yrs ... 3 Twenty-nine horses started for the race, of which four fell. One of the jockeys, M. OBrien, was injured, but is now reported to be progressing favourably. [Rosebud was bred by Mr W. Walters,of Papakura.]
