v ■ . tp To the Editor. , Sir, —I should like to air a locaj grievance through your valuable columns, a grievance which every parent in the block should kick about, to wit, our somnolent school com- | mittee.. They ; evidently-^-Wish 1 ' their children to grow as as they are themselves. I J have' always been under theipipreasion, that a school Committee has elected to see that the teacher did his duty, to,i the children and earned liis pay, but it is | a mistaken idea. Nothing but a demand froth the householders to get out will wafee ; -' them, and that demand is wanted in. a hurry, if our chilren are to know a big B from a bull’s hoof before are grandparents.
