FOR MEN AT THE FRONT. In resptonse to inquiries by the Mayoress (Mrs A. L. Arrowsmitb), asking for information regarding sending 'Xmas gifts to' the men at the front, the following telegam was received — "Replying to your telegram of to-day to Capt. "Kindly consign to Under Secretary International Affairs No. 3 Shed, King's Wharf, Wellington, to reach there not later than the 6th October, definitely.
