CHAMPIONSHIP CONGRESS. Press Association. DUNEDIN, December'2B. The New Zealand Chess Congress was ofllcinlly opened to-day. There are eight competitors in the championship. The hours of play have been fixed as follow: 2 p.m. to 5.15 p.m., and 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Adjourned games will be played out between 0.30 a.m. and 12.:50 p.m.
