PAPANUI CLUB. Games flint have just been decided upon the Papanui howling green include the following:— Championship Hlnks—A. Banks, W. Banks, Freeman and Samuels (skip) beat Butt, White, Mulligan and Shore (skip): Chatfleld, Kettle, J. Quigley and Pool (skip) beat Freeman, W. Banks, A. Banks and Samuels (skip). Champion Doubles—Chatfleld and Baldwin (skip) beat Shore and Pool (skip). Champion Singles—Shore beat Butt, Baldwin beat Ritchie, Kettle beat J. Quigley, Chatfleld beat Halllgan. PAPANCI t. SUMNER. Matches were played on Saturday on the Sumner green between four doubles from the Papanui Club and four representing the home club. The Sumner Club won by five Soints. Results (Sumner players mentioned rst):— Gardiner and Hampton 15 lost to Butt and Pool 25; Crawford and Chambers 24 defeated Chatfleld and Baldwin 15; Malmis and Johnson 20 defeated Chambers and Banks 12; Wright and Moddlson 21 lost to Kectley and Quigley 23. Totals: Sumner 80, Papanui 75.
