DANCE AT "WAIPUNA."
A very happy time was spent by a number of young people at the residence of Mr and Mrs F. M. Warx'en, "Waipuna," Clyde Road, last evening, •when a jolly dance was held. Dancing took place in the billiards room, to music supplied by Miss Maedonald's orchestra, the impromptu ball-room being decorated in a fresh and springlike scheme, quantities of japonica &ad flowering shrubs being used. The sup-per-room was likewise beautified with quantities of spring flowers.
Mrs Warren wore a very handsome black liberty satin gown, embroidered in cut jet and steel beads, and made with a graceful drape giving a tume effect: Miss Warren was in flame colour, relieved with black, and Miss Wanda Warren in blue, trimmed with gold tissue.
The guests included: The Misses V. and R. Matson, Dorothy Diamond, Enid Mi lity, Tobtn, Enid Halsted (Dunedin), lisme Malcolm. Clarkson (21, McDougall (2), Beadel (3J, Knight, Dora, Rosamund and Marion Wood, Webb, Parkinson (Kaituna), Harrison <2>, Thacker, Rich, Perkins, Hamilton, Messrs Matson, Knight, Walker, Beadel (2), Johnston <2|, K.
