WEDDING.

A quiet wedding was solemnised at St. Michael's Church yesterday, when Miss Olga D. Anvyes, niece of Mr and Mrs S. 11. Amyes, of Cashmere, was married to Mr Arthur J. Du Pont, youngest son of Mrs G. S. Flanagan, of Christchurch. The bride wore a graceful gown of ivory satin charmeuse and georgette, embroidered in gold, and the court train was composed of ivory satin and lined with pale blue georgette. On the left hand comer a horseshoe embroidered in gold appeared, and it was finished with a sprig of orange blossom. A veil of white silk tulle was prettily arranged and kept in place by a wreath of gold leaves. A Bouquet of pink and white flowers, veiled in tulle, completed the bride's toilette. She was attended byMiss Phyllis Coleman as maid of honour, the-latter being gowned in a dainty frock of shell-pink georgette and crepe de Chine, embroidered in self colour, and finished with touches of French blue georgette and French blue velvet ribbon. She carried a bouquet of choice flowers, veiled in a deeper shade of pink tulle. A large leghorn hat, also trimmed with pink georgette and French blue velvet ribbon, was worn.

The bride was given away by her uncle, Mr S. 11. Amyes, and Mr AV. B. Hutton acted as best man. The bridegroom's present to the bride was a black sealskin coat, and to the bridesmaid a signet ring. The bride's present to the bridegroom was a solid leather suitcase. After a reception at Broadway's, Mr and Mrs Du Font left for the south, the bride wearing her sealskin coat over a navv gaberdine costume. A neat travelling hat of black velvet, relieved with royal blue and mustard silk corded ribbon, finished this toilette.
