REUNION OF CHURCHES.
THE LAMBETH APPEAL. FREE CHURCH COMMENT. Bu Cable. — Prttt Atiociotion. — Copt/right. (A. & N.Z.) LONDON, Auk. U. The Australian Press Association interviewed the Rev. F. B. Meyer, President of the National Council of Free Churches, who, commenting on the appeal of the Lambeth Conferencee, said he favoured reunion of the churches, but he was afraid the proposal to make the re-ordination of the Free Church clergy obligatory would create an insuperable difficulty. He cordially appreciated the proposal to make the episcopacy non-prelalical. The Rev. Doctor Poole, formerly of Australia, Mid latterly of America, is succeeding the Rev. F. R. Meyer in the pastorate of Christ Church, Westminster, in March. The Rev. MiMeyer will tour Canada in 1021.
