BOOTS AT HALF PRICE.

PRACTICALLY GIVING THEM AWAY. BIG RELIEF FROM HIGH PRICES. In every business there is an accumulation of odd lines and sample goods. These are not a whit less good than regular lines—in many instances they are better—but the fact that there is not the range, the variety yof sizes, etc., causes them to be overlooked. And that is the position at Stewart Robinson's in Cashel Street. With their enormous turnover, a number of odd and sample pairs of boots and shoes of all sizes for men, women, and children have accumulated. All of these are to be cleared at half-prices this week. The window will be full of half-price Bargains to-da*.—go and see them. Selling Boots and Shoes at halfprices is practically giving them away. It must be remembered that there are not many of each line, but there are many lines. Boys' Boots in size's 7, 8 and i), regular price 15/-, now 7/6. Men's Tan Shoes, usually 34/-, now 17/-, Ladies' White Canvas Strap Shoes, slightly damaged, were 10/-, now 5/-. Talk took up the early running from Deviation and Lndogcur. Going round the top turn All Talk was making play from Deviation, after whom came Ijidogour and Gaylight. Rqcing past the stand the order was: Deviation, All Talk, Fisher, Utdogeur, Gaylight, and Kohu. Before reaching Hie mile post All Talk fell and a little further on Gaylight also came to grief. When well Into the back straight Deviation was just heading lndogcur, with Fisher, Hylans, Jack Symons and Kauri King In that order. A little further on Deviation gave place to Ladogeur, who made play round the top turn from Hylans, Jack Symons and Kauri King. Ijidogeur was first into line for home, his immediate attendants being Hylans, Kauri King, Jack Symons and Fisher. Once over the last obstacle, Hylans drew to the front, but he had to be ridden right out to defeat .lack Symons, who failed to get up by a neck. Four lengths back came Fisher, followed by Ladogeur, Kauri King and Thrace. Time, 4min 54sec. ' Gaylight broke his neck.
