REPRIEVE GRANTED.
SENTENCE OF DEATH REMITTED. [From Our Own Parliamentary Reporter.] WELLINGTON. August 12. The Executive has granted a reprieve to John Sharp, who was sentenced to death for the murder at Rongahcre, Otago, of his little daughter. The jury brought in a strong recommendation to mercy.
