FOURTEEN KILLED.
EXPLOSION ON BATTLESHIP. By Ca'ile. — Tress Association. — Copyright. (A. & N.Z.) TOKIO, Oct. 31. There were 14 men killed and 13 injured in the explosion aboard the battleship Hyuga. The Emperor participated in the manoeuvres, which took place in Tokio Bay. GUN TURRET BLOWN INTO SEA. Australian and A'.Z Cable Association. (Rec. Nov. -i, 8.45) TOKIO, Nov. 1. The explosion on the Japanese warship blew the gun turret into the sea, killing an officer and 12 of the crew, and injuring several. The Emperor was a spectator of the disaster.
