AMALGAMATED WIRELESS (AUSTRALASIA), LTD. Following the recent decision of the shareholders of Amalgamated Wireless (Australasia), Ltd., to increase the capital of the company by £OO,OOO to a total of £200,000, the directors have now decided to issue immediately 20,000 new £1 shares at par. •These'are now being offered to shareholders in the proportion of one new share for every seven shares held. Marconi's Wireless Telegraph, Co., Ltd., of London, Who are large shareholders, have already Notified their intention of taking up their proportion of the new capital offering. A very successful clearing sale was conducted by the National Mortgage and Agency Co., of New Zealand, Ltd., at Fernside on Friday last, on account of Mr Donald Mcintosh, who is leaving the district. Ewes and lambs, all counted, averaged 27/3, hoggets 37/6, dry ewes 48/-. A cow brought £2l, draught mares £43 10/- to £l7 10/-, draught geldings £32 10/- to £49.
