SUPREME COURT.

IN CHAMBERS. The following business was dealt with in' Chambers by his Honour Mr Justice Herilman in the Supreme Court this morning:— Probates were granted as under:— Stewart Callaghan (Mr A. S. Nicholls), Hannah Mathea Seaforth (Mr J. H. Upham), John Cowen (Mr H. C. Orbell), and Andrew Aitken (Mr W. L. Moore). Letters of administration were granted as follow: —James Frederick Pelyin (Mr J. Emslie) and Mary Catherine Chinnery (Mr E. E. Papprill). An order was made for the taking of evidence at Hamilton on behalf of defendant in the case, Kaikoura County Council (Mr A? F. Wright) v. 11. Sunshall (Mr S. 0. Raymond). In the estate of Elizabeth Anne Green (Mr J. H. Upham), an order was mado granting leave to sell land. A similar order was made in respect to the estate of Owen Stace (Mr G. W. Smithson). Orders granting leave to expend money on improvements were made in the estates of George Coleman, deceased (Mr F. W. Johnston), and David Gordon tlolmers, deceased (Mr K. Neave). Guardians and litem were appointed in the cases, Donalcla McCallum (Mr A. S. Taylor) v. Christchureh Tramway Board; Stella Olive Ncedham (Mr A. S. Taylor) v. the Christchureh Tramway Hoard, and in re Win. Robert Jones, deceased (Air J. J. Molony). Extensions of time for filling renewals of instruments under the Chattels Transfer Act were granted in re Leonard John Frost to Reid and Gray, Ltd. (Mr W. J. Hunter), and Duncan Joseph Mcintosh to the Bank of New South Wales (Mr G. H. M. Walton).
