TRAMS COLLIDE.
PASSENGERS INJURED. Pre** Afnociatiun. , AUCKLAND, September 4. A serious tramway accident occurred in Khyber Pass to-night. Two cars were travelling in the same direction, and when the leading car stopped to set down passengers, the second car crashed into it, and both cars were badly damaged. All the passengers were badly shaken and a number, are suffering from shock. Mrs Marion Rassie, aged 67 years, was sent to the hospital with a severe injury to the leg. Mrs Mary Finnerty received injuries to the side of the head and bruises and shock. A boy named Handcock received a severe scalp wound and cuts on the ear and cheek. The motorman on the back car had a wonderful escape, receiving only cuts, on the fingers.
