CONCLUDING DAY'S RACING. Ideal weather favoured the New Zealand Metropolitan Trolling Club's postponed February meeting, held at Addlngton on Saturday. Better racing and higher-class fields have never been seen at this fixture, and altogether the afternoon's sport was most enjoyable. The Increased attendance brought with it improved speculation, the totalisator staff handling £41,807, a larger amount than was invested on either day of the Easter meeting. Pax commenced very smartly, and with half the journey gone was well clear of Heetorata, George Hard, and Red Prince, who were racing almost on terms. Three furlongs from home Pax lost his place, to Heetorata. In the run to the post Sympathy came strongly on the outside, and won a good race by a length and a-half from Heetorata. When three-quarters of a mile liacl been covered Chid was just in front of Frank Tracey and Author Dillon. Two furlongs from the post Author Billon drew to the front and won very easily by six lengths from Admiral Wood. Chid faded out in the run home, and finished two lengths behind Admiral Wood.
