When the House met at 11.30 to-day it immediately went into Committee of Supply to consider the Estimates, the debate on the budget thus lapsing. ESTIMATES DISCUSSED. Press Association. WELLINGTON, November 29. The House continued the whole of the morning. The sitting was occupied in discussing the vote of £.'U,299 for the House of Representatives. Members complained bitterly against the acoustics and inconveniences of the new Chamber. Mr (t. J. Anderson (Mataura) moved to reduce the vote by £l, as an indication that the Advisory Committee of members set up shbuld have some power to enforce the wishes of members against the persistency of the Minister and the Government Architect.
