THE SUBMARINE WAR.
BRITISH VESSEL SUNK. (A. & N.Z. & Router) LONDON,.June 17. • The Admiralty reports that a German submarine torpedoed and sank the armed mercantile cruiser Palia (0103 tons, built in 1013), on June 13. One officer and 15 men are believed to have been drowned.
