THE GERMAN PLIGHT. (A. & N.Z.) LONDON, June 18. The "Morning Post" states that General Ludendorff has ordered von Falkenhayn to send back from Russia within a week every available soldier, thus proving the severity of the German losses on the West front. ITis estimated that 35 German divisions were left in Russia, of which 12 are in the Ukraine. They are mostly Landwehr and other poor troops.
