LARGE NUMBER IDLE. i j (Hit- May 2'.), S.:iol LONDON. May 28. The VYeslonmouth mines are idle, 117,001) miners having struck because 20 men's pay was stopped at Hollybush whilst they carried a dead comrade home. The men claim that this is contrary to coal-fields practice.
