A SOCIETY SCANDAL. ("The Times") AMSTERDAM, May 27. An unsavoury case, which is tickling the Berlin people's palates, opened in the Courts on Saturday, when the son of the Prussian General, von Hadeck, charged the son and the daughter-in-law of Count von Bernstorff, Prince Albert of Schleswig, Herr von Kuhlmann's brother, and other society favourites, with spreading libellous statements. The evidence showed that Count von Bernstorff's son stole* the complainant's wife. The complainant thrashed him and tore off his epaulets, whereupon society intrigue caused the complainant's discharge from the army. The evidence alleges that Count von Bernslorir used Ids ambassadorial position ts> uphold his son's misconduct.
