At the meeting of the Education Board this afternoon lots were drawn to ascertain the members that should retire in view of the election to be held in July next. The following are the retiring members: Urban area, Messrs E. H. Andrews and J. Jamieson; North Ward,' Mr Jos. Grimmond; Middle Ward, Mr W. A. Banks; South Ward, Mr W. M. Hamilton; Timaru urban area, Mr J. Maze. All of these gentlemen are eligible for rct-election, but it is understood that Mr Hamilton will not be a candidate.
