GRAIN SEIZED. PETROGRAD, April 4. _The Germans seized at Poltava 50,000 tons of grain, ■which has been sent to Germany. A series of anti-Jewish demonstrations have occurred in the Ukraine. SLAUGHTER OF UHLANS. LONDON, April 4. A correspondent at the French Headquarters reports that the commander of the machine-gun section says :—The Uhlans charged us soldily, at full gallop, opposite Montdidicr. We allowed them to approach to close range before we fired. The whole brilliant cavalcade was destroyed. Not a single man remained. Two squadrons of cavalry were similarly wiped out on the previous day. My guns had the biggest meal they had had since the beginning of the war.
